Branding with NFTs
Branding with NFTS
At NFT Art Source, one of our specialties include how to incorporate NFTs to market a brand. We consult with companies and demonstrate how non-fungible tokens can be used to help promote new products and reach a wider audience. With the exponential interest in NFTs this past year, it isn’t hard to imagine that using them will engage and excite new customers.
One marketing tactic of integrating NFTs into a brands schema is by adding captivating art on packaging along with a QR code that allows customers to directly engage with the image, creating an intertwined emotional connection between the artist, the company, and the product. Furthermore, the packaging can become a collectible item, giving an additional boost to the value of the product. Adding creative NFT images to a product, not only helps build brand recognition, but invites the customer to identify more closely with brands, giving the company an edge in the current competitive market.
On top of packaging, the utilities that can be earned with the purchase of the NFT are endless, including discounts on future product purchases, merchandise, and events. All these benefits add up to long-lasting and loyal customers for both the artist and the company.
As we witnessed through this year’s Super Bowl ads, there were 5 crypto commercials, adding up to over $30M in spend. The one that hit home for us was the Coinbase ad which displayed a black screen with a bouncing QR code reminiscent of the Windows 98 screen saver. That ad generated curiosity and got over 20 million people to scan the code in one minute, (according to their Chief Product Officer) Ultimately, the vast number of hits crashed the website, but it did engage with a new and abundant audience.
As companies are introduced to NFT marketing tactics and begin to understand that we are living increasingly in a digital landscape, companies will recognize that NFTs add value to brands through product recognition, sales, and engagement. This is just the beginning of the shift for blockchain-based marketing strategies, and our team at NFT Art Source is here to help guide you and your business in any capacity.
